Job summary

Leprino Foods, a leading dairy ingredient producer, seeks a Production Supervisor (Protein) at our Greeley facility. You will lead a team in the Protein Department (Native Whey & Micellar Casein), drive daily staffing, coach staff, and ensure high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

You will work with maintenance and quality teams to keep production moving, enforce policies, and lead sanitation and food-safety programs while seeking continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in food manufacturing with at least 1 year leading or mentoring others.
• Experience with processing or packaging systems, operations and troubleshooting.
• Strong computer proficiency; experience with SAP or similar manufacturing software.
• Able to work weekends, swing, and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of hourly employees in the Protein Department, ensuring product quality, safety, and production efficiency.
• Plan daily staffing to meet production goals while maintaining a safe, collaborative environment.
• Coach and develop team members with ongoing training and feedback.
• Foster trust and teamwork through clear communication and recognition of performance.
• Oversee daily shift operations to meet productivity, yield, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure timely repairs and equipment needs.
• Enforce company policies and encourage accountability and engagement.
• Oversee sanitation programs and food safety compliance.
• Promote safe work practices and provide necessary tools and training.
• Monitor financial/operational performance and identify improvements to reduce waste.
