Pilgrim’s is seeking an Electrical Technician to maintain and repair electrical equipment across our poultry/food processing facilities. You’ll install, calibrate, and troubleshoot systems while reading drawings and using meters and computers.

The role requires physical stamina to work in hot/cold environments and lift heavy objects. We offer a 2-2-3 schedule with benefits starting after 60 days, including health coverage and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Experience in poultry or food manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively.
• Read and interpret electromechanical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of using measurement tools (multimeter, megohmmeter) and computers.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance and repair promptly.

Responsabilités

• Install, program, set, calibrate, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment (metal detectors, scales, PID controllers, VFD, PLC, circuit boards, fuses, relays, motors, electro-pneumatic valves).
• Read and interpret electromechanical drawings, schematics, blueprints.
• Perform timely repair and routine maintenance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Handle emergencies and unplanned repairs.
• Use power tools (saws, drills, grinder, etc.).
• Work in high heat, cold environments, at heights, in confined spaces.
• Lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
