Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Georgia is seeking a Lead Operator to enforce safety, food safety plans, and CGMP policies on a daily basis. You will coordinate with the Production Supervisor/Manager to meet production goals.

You will operate all rendering areas and will fill in for absentees while maintaining cleanliness and documenting compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in oral and written formats.
• Must understand the fundamental principles of manufacturing.
• Must possess effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to operate all areas in the rendering; Receiving, Cooker, Feather, Grinding Room, Load Out, Yard Dog, Forklift, Skid, Street Sweeper, and Yard Cart.
• Ensure cleanliness of the rendering and offal areas.
• Review food safety documents before final review by PCQI.
• Fill in for all absentees.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.
