Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Maintenance Lead to supervise and coordinate maintenance across the facility. The role focuses on ensuring optimal equipment performance, reliable utilities, and efficient operations while leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include supervising repair and installation, planning schedules, minimizing downtime, and developing preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in poultry or food manufacturing; experience with processing equipment and industrial maintenance systems.
• Skills: Refrigeration, PLCs/electrical systems, plumbing, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems; strong leadership, communication, problem-solving; basic computer skills; Haz-Mat qualification.

• Support facility improvements and manage procurement of tools, equipment, and supplies to drive efficient operations.

Maintenance Lead

This role ensures optimal equipment performance, reliable utility systems, and efficient facility operations while leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Need:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred;
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in poultry or food manufacturing. Experience with processing equipment and industrial maintenance systems;
• Skills: Working knowledge of refrigeration, PLCs/electrical systems, proficiency in plumbing, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems, strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, basic computer skills and ability to support maintenance systems, and ability to become Haz-Mat team qualified.
