Job summary

Ridge Biotechnologies, Inc. is seeking a Research Associate – Bioengineering in San Carlos, CA. You will contribute to high-throughput protein engineering, platform development, and therapeutic protein production, collaborating with scientists across chemistry, biology, and computation.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, data-driven decision making, and rapid problem solving. You will work across disciplines applying our NativeLink and ProTrigger technologies to advance therapeutic programs

Qualifications

BS (2–3 years) or MS (1–2 years) in biochemistry, biology, or related field.
Experience engineering functional proteins using high-throughput workflows.
Experience with DNA/RNA design, cloning, purification, and assays.
Experience with electrophoresis, ELISA, activity assays, or MS.
Ability to work full-time at San Carlos location and meet timelines.

Responsibilities

Optimize and characterize large numbers of enzymes and therapeutic proteins using high-throughput methods.
Document designs and results with thorough data records.
Analyze data to inform next experimental steps.
Present and communicate results to a multidisciplinary team.
Collaborate with enzyme engineering and computational teams to advance projects.
