Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with the specified coursework in behavioral sciences.
  • One and one-half years of professional experience helping individuals and families identify problems and develop service plans.
  • Two years of professional social or human service work involving investigations of abuse/neglect and treatment plan development.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and direct the activities of a unit of Child/Adult Protective Services Specialists and other staff.
  • Assign, review, and evaluate subordinate staff; provide technical guidance and supervision.
  • Counsel and discipline staff; participate in staff development and training; ensure program objectives are met.
