Job summary

Randolph County (NC) is seeking an experienced Adult Services Social Worker to deliver intensive social work services for complex cases. You will conduct investigations and assessments of abuse/neglect/exploitation, provide counseling and case management, and support guardianship decisions in line with NC law.

Court testimony and detailed documentation are required. Responsibilities include preparing social histories, ensuring timely contacts, and coordinating services to protect vulnerable

Qualifications

• Must have an accredited master's in social work or a qualifying combination outlined in NC policy.
• Experience in case management, assessment, referral, counseling, intervention and treatment planning.
• Ability to provide expert testimony and court reports when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive social work services in serious and complicated adult cases.
• Investigate and assess abuse, neglect, or exploitation and guardianship needs.
• Offer counseling and ongoing protective services for at-risk adults.
• Prepare social histories, assess client needs, and determine intervention levels.
• Provide court reports and expert testimony as required.
• Maintain detailed case records and generate statistical reports.
