Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work and 2 years of social work or counseling experience.
• Bachelor's degree in social work and 3 years of social work or counseling experience.
• Master's degree in counseling and 3 years of social work or counseling experience.
• Four-year degree in human services with 15 credit hours in social work/counseling and 4 years of relevant experience.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a staff of social workers to provide child protective services.
• Assign cases to staff and coordinate workflow.
• Provide staff training and coaching; discipline when needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and agency policies.
• Monitor performance, conduct case reviews, and provide direction.
• Participate in management planning and budgeting for the unit.
• Maintain thorough documentation and timely case decisions.
