Job summary

The State of Missouri is seeking staff for Adult Protective Services based in St. Charles, MO. The role involves protecting seniors and adults with disabilities by investigating reports, visiting homes, interviewing stakeholders, and coordinating protective services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience may substitute for education.
• Experience in Adult Protective Services or related field preferred for Specialist II.
• Lack of post-secondary education will not be the sole basis for denial.

Responsibilities

• Investigate reports of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of elderly (60+) and disabled (18+).
• Conduct home visits to observe surroundings and interview victims and caregivers.
• Coordinate interventions and ongoing protective services needs.
• Be available to be in an on-call rotation with other team members.
