Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s in social work or related field, or 5 years relevant experience.
• Caseworker III prefers a Master’s degree in Social Work.
• Knowledge of client confidentiality and court documentation is required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses allegations and safety risks; completes intake and assessment forms.
• Provides crisis intervention and ongoing counseling to families.
• Coordinates services with county departments and outside agencies.
• Develops treatment or service plans addressing risk and needs.
• Prepares case information for courts and communications with attorneys.
• Refers clients to state and community resources.
• Monitors compliance and determines appropriate actions.
• Maintains thorough documentation and data entry with timely reporting.
