Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Protective Security Specialist to support Department of State Worldwide Protective Services in austere environments. You will provide advanced medical care and security functions for contractors and team members in high-threat locations.

Responsibilities include driving operations, security post staff, and advance security planning. Requires active paramedic credentials, U.S. citizenship, and travel readiness for overseas deployments.

Qualifications

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Active or inactive NREMT paramedic certification; must be valid before deployment and throughout.
CPR Professional Rescuer, or BLS/ACLS with ILS/PHTLS credentials.
Minimum of three (3) years EMS experience at AEMT/paramedic level; hospital experience does not satisfy.
Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
Valid U.S. Passport with at least 6 months remaining before expiration.
Proficiency in English (speaking, writing, and reading).
Must pass the pre-employment PRT.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced emergency medical care to Contractor personnel and others as directed, within scope of practice and WPS III guidelines.
Perform day-to-day personal protective security functions.
Drive lead, principal’s, or follow vehicles and act as a response agent in motorcade operations.
Maintain protective formation positions during principal’s movements.
Participate in advance security preparations.
Staff security posts at principal’s residence or other posts as required.
