Job summary

Acuity International seeks a highly experienced Protective Security Specialist to deliver advanced medical care and security support in austere environments. You will operate in high-threat settings, perform convoy and security duties, and ensure rapid medical readiness for personnel.

Requirements include U.S. citizenship, active paramedic certification, CPR/BLS/ACLS, and a minimum of three years EMS experience. Travel to demanding locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• NR EMT paramedic certification with active status.
• CPR, BLS, ACLS, and trauma training credentials (ILS/PHTLS or equivalent).
• Minimum three years EMS experience at AEMT/paramedic level.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Valid U.S. Passport with at least 6 months remaining.
• Proficiency in speaking, writing, and communicating in English.
• Must pass the pre-employment PRT.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced emergency medical care to contractor personnel and others per DS/RSO direction.
• Perform day-to-day personal protective security functions.
• Drive lead, principal, or follow vehicles or act as a response agent during motorcade operations.
• Maintain protective formation positions during principal’s movements.
• Participate in advance security preparations.
• Staff security posts or command posts as required.
