Job summary

The Vanguard Group is seeking a Protective Intelligence Analyst to monitor, triage, and analyze threat information, ensuring timely escalation and accurate decision-making. The role emphasizes OSINT collection, case management, and producing concise weekly intelligence summaries.

Responsibilities include maintaining intake processes, monitoring feeds, and collaborating across teams to inform executive stakeholders. Hybrid work model with on-call and travel considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, intelligence studies, security studies, psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of three years of related experience in intelligence analysis, GSOC/watch operations, journalism/research, or military/law-enforcement analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to work a high-volume queue with consistency, accuracy, and documented decisions.
• Strong OSINT skills to locate, verify, and assess open-source information.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily alert and intake queues, vendor alerting feeds, and regional routing.
• Triage inbound items against screening criteria and disposition with rationale or open cases.
• Provide monitoring coverage during executive travel and events, escalating per criteria.
• Maintain watchlist hygiene and fine-tune OSINT feeds for reliable threat ID.
• Maintain key protective intelligence trackers/metrics and dashboards.
• Conduct OSINT collection and analysis for protective intelligence assessments and document sources.
• Draft weekly intelligence summaries consolidating alerts, cases, and threat trends.
