Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a Protective Intelligence Analyst to support senior executives globally. The role requires an experienced OSINT practitioner who can independently identify threats, triage alerts, and produce decision-ready intelligence under time pressure.

You'll own threat intake, monitor queues, and manage case tracking while applying structured analytic judgment to determine escalation needs. This position offers broad exposure across the protective intelligence lifecycle and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, intelligence studies, security studies, psychology, or related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum of three years in intelligence analysis, GSOC/watch operations, journalism/research, or military/law-enforcement analysis.
• Ability to manage a high-volume queue with consistent, accurate decisions.
• Strong OSINT skills to locate, verify, and assess open-source information.
• Comfort reading concerning or threatening content and escalating appropriately.
• High ethical standards and discretion with sensitive information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, briefing senior leaders clearly under time pressure.
• Ability to think critically with incomplete or conflicting information.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily alert and intake queues from feeds and referrals.
• Triage items against threat criteria and open cases or mark unfounded with rationale.
• Provide coverage during executive travel and events, escalate as needed.
• Maintain watchlist hygiene and OSINT feeds.
• Maintain trackers and dashboards for requests, alerts, cases, and products.
• Conduct OSINT analysis for protective intelligence assessments and document sources.
• Draft weekly intelligence summaries synthesizing activity and threats.
