Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a Protective Intelligence Analyst to manage daily alert queues, triage inbound items, and provide real-time assessment during executive travel. The role emphasizes monitoring and contributing to threat assessments within a hybrid work environment.

You will collaborate with teams to refine OSINT feeds, ensure watchlist hygiene, and support rapid decision-making at senior leadership levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum of three years in intelligence analysis, GSOC/watch operations, journalism/research, or military/law-enforcement analysis.
• Ability to handle high-volume queues with consistent, accurate decisions.
• Strong OSINT skills to verify and assess credibility across open sources.
• Comfort with reading concerning content and escalating appropriately.
• High ethical standards and discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to brief senior leaders.
• Ability to think critically when information is incomplete or conflicting.

Responsibilities

• Triage and monitor daily alert queues and intake channels.
• Disposit items as unfounded with documented rationale or escalate.
• Provide monitoring during executive travel and events.
• Maintain watchlist hygiene and OSINT feeds.
• Maintain protective intelligence trackers and dashboards.
• Conduct OSINT collection and analysis for assessments.
• Draft weekly intelligence summaries.
• Process intake acknowledgements and records handling.
