Job summary

Maricopa County in Phoenix seeks a Financial Fiduciary to protect vulnerable adults from financial fraud and to manage taxes and assets for Wards, Protected Persons, and Estates.

You will collaborate with field fiduciaries, review financial records, prepare petitions and court documents, and ensure compliance with laws while benefiting from tuition reimbursement, generous leave, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Fiduciary license in good standing.
• Two years of guardianship, conservatorship, decedent estate, or related fiduciary experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Represent the office at financial institutions, collect statements and funds, and close accounts as needed.
• Complete tax reviews for all estates annually and as needed.
• Review, process, and audit a variety of financial documents.
• Prepare petitions for compensation for all estates annually and as needed.
• Act as the subject matter expert on supporting documentation for assets administered by the department.
• Prepare and file court documents related to inventories, accountings, notices, and other estate documents.
• Completes mandatory reports and audits to ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Administer guardianships, conservatorships, and decedents’ estates as needed.
• Coordinate, monitor, and oversee Ward, Protected Person, or Estate affairs.
