Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in AAS CAD or related engineering technology, or equivalent experience.
• One to two years of relevant drafting experience with AAS.

Responsibilities

• Create, revise and maintain engineering drawings and sketches.
• Maintain facilities and equipment documents and records.
• Obtain information from drawings, field notes, vendors’ catalogs and site visits.
• Perform mathematical calculations for assigned work.
• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Coordinate with other Company organizations to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Read vendor prints and operating instructions and apply them to work.
• Assist in training AEP employees in basic skills of the position.
• Support Accident Prevention and Safety programs and corporate policies.
• Demonstrate ethical behavior per corporate policies.
• Support Corporate Compliance policies.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
