Job summary

The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry seeks a full-time Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor for the Division of Prosthodontics. The role includes clinical supervision in predoctoral or advanced clinics and involvement in preclinical instruction and curriculum development.

Ideal candidates hold a DDS/DMD, Minnesota license, and CODA-accredited prosthodontics training with a record of teaching, research, and collaboration across courses and mentorship activities.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree or international equivalent.
• Current Minnesota dental license or ability to obtain.
• CODA-accredited Advanced Education in Prosthodontics by start date.
• Advanced degree (MS/PhD), publications or research experience.
• Experience with diverse patient base.
• Theoretical and clinical Prosthodontics and digital dentistry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor students in predoctoral and advanced clinics.
• Direct courses, lectures, and seminars for programs.
• Participate in faculty, resident, and student research.
• Engage in continuing education through the division.
• Other duties as assigned by the Division Director.
