Job summary

Hanger, Inc. seeks a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist for our Laurel, MD clinic. You will assess patients, design, fabricate and fit prostheses/orthoses, and work with a rehab team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics or ABC Board-Eligibility.
• A baccalaureate degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics or equivalent.
• Able to obtain/maintain state licensure where required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to evaluate prosthetic/orthotic needs.
• Design, fabricate and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices with attention to fit and efficacy.
• Instruct patients on device use and care, provide follow-up as needed.
• Document clinical notes and participate in practice management.
