Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to produce components by assembling lower extremity prosthetics and subassemblies to meet production schedules, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

In this role you will interpret technical diagrams and written instructions, perform buffing/finishing, router and waterjet operations, document labor for each job, resolve assembly issues with peers and managers, and help maintain a clean, organized work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Good understanding of quality control principles.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and safely.
• Analytical skills with the ability to use tools and take measurements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform buffing/finishing, router, and waterjet operations.
• Interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and written instructions.
• Document actions by electronically recording labor for each job.
• Ensure quality standards are met and handle defective items according to established procedures.
• Resolve assembly problems by communicating with peers, leads, or managers.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company standards.
