Job summary

Southern Orthocare in Knoxville, TN seeks a Prosthetic and Orthotic Technician to fabricate, modify, finish and repair patient-specific devices. The role involves close collaboration with clinicians to bring custom devices to life using traditional and modern methods.

The ideal candidate will have lab experience in O&P, a team-oriented mindset, solid computer skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality products for patients in our East Tennessee clinics.

Qualifications

• Experience in prosthetics, orthotics and pedorthics preferred.
• Team player with can-do attitude in challenging cases.
• Computer skills including word processing and internet/email.
• Clear commitment to delivering excellent products.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, modify, finish, and repair prosthetic, orthotic and pedorthic devices using traditional and modern fabrication methods.
• Support Clinic Manager, Lab Manager and Practitioners in fabrication and care.
• Maintain lab organization, meet due dates, and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Seek faster and cost-effective ways to deliver high-quality devices to patients.
• Adhere to lab policy and learn lab processes from multiple trainers under Lab Manager.
