Job summary

ForMotion is seeking a Lab Technician-I to support fabrication, maintenance, and repair of prosthetic and orthotic devices under clinician guidance. You will ensure quality, maintain a clean, safe lab, and complete work orders accurately.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 0–2 years hands-on experience, and comfort with tools; you should be able to lift 50+ lbs, communicate clearly, and work with integrity in a patient-first environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of industrial or hands-on technical experience (machine shop, auto repair, etc.).
• Comfortable with tools and physical labor.
• Must be available during clinic operating hours and uphold policies with professionalism and fairness.
• Strong patient-first mindset and commitment to service.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates basic orthotic/prosthetic devices as instructed.
• Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on devices and tools.
• Tests devices for movement, alignment, and basic stability.
• Completes assigned work orders accurately and on time.
• Maintains organized, clean lab workspace.
• Adheres to all safety and quality procedures.
