Job summary

Southern Orthocare, Inc. in East Tennessee clinics seeks a Prosthetic and Orthotic Technician to bring custom devices to life. You will fabricate, modify, finish, and repair prosthetic and orthotic devices, working closely with clinicians to ensure quality, fit, and craftsmanship.

In this hands-on role you will help maintain a clean, organized lab, meet deadlines, and learn lab processes while applying traditional and modern fabrication methods to deliver excellent patient devices.

Qualifications

• Experience in an O&P lab with prosthetics, orthotics and pedorthics preferred.
• A team player with a can-do attitude, especially in challenging cases.
• Computer skills that include word processing and email.
• A clearly demonstrated commitment to deliver only excellent products.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, modify, finish, and repair prosthetic and orthotic devices.
• Collaborate with clinicians to ensure device quality, safety, fit, and craftsmanship.
• Keep the lab organized and meet due dates, aiming for first-time accuracy.
• Follow lab policies and continuously seek faster, cost-effective production methods.
