Job summary

Novartis is seeking a Radioligand Therapy Oncology Specialist to drive demand and shape strategic business plans across an assigned geography. This field-based role collaborates with Medical Oncologists, Urologists, Nuclear Medicine, and Radiation Oncologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Candidates should have 3+ years in pharma or related sales, oncology exposure, and willingness to travel 60-80% with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required from 4-year college or university.
• 3+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams within the last 5 years.
• 1+ years’ experience in oncology, urology, nuclear medicine, medical devices, or complex therapeutics.
• 1+ years’ experience in prostate, neuroendocrine tumors, or buy-and-bill therapeutic experience, within last 5 years.
• Candidate must reside within territory, or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border. Travel 60-80% over a broad geography.

Responsibilities

• Own prescribing and referring relationships and execute business plans for territories.
• Support product access and grow key relationships with account partners.
• Develop tools/strategies to gain access and deliver clinical value in community/hospital accounts.
• Communicate clinical product information and handle objections to drive calls to action.
• Understand territory landscape and anticipate changes to optimize execution.
• Develop and execute call-plans to improve access and sales opportunities.
