Job summary

Pfizer Inc. seeks a Clinical Development Medical Director to lead medical and scientific direction for a Phase 3 oncology trial in prostate cancer.

You will partner with the Clinical Scientist and study team to oversee conduct, safety evaluation, data interpretation, and the timely delivery of regulatory documents. You will influence across a global matrix organization, interact with investigators and health authorities, and ensure study decisions align with the overall program strategy.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognized school and 4+ years of experience.
• Licensed to prescribe medicines independently for at least 2 years post intern/house officer/foundation period.
• Clinical oncology experience.
• Clinical research or drug development experience in pharma/biotech/academic setting.
• Working knowledge of clinical trial design, conduct, analysis, and interpretation.
• Understanding of Good Clinical Practice and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret complex clinical and safety data and translate findings into clear medical recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence in a cross-functional matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical and scientific leadership for a Phase 3 oncology clinical trial within prostate cancer.
• Ensure study conduct and decisions are scientifically rigorous and aligned with the development plan.
• Review and interpret efficacy and safety data and communicate implications to stakeholders.
• Lead or contribute to the development of clinical study protocols, safety plans, and regulatory documents.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and governance bodies to manage risks and study decisions.
