The Howard University seeks a Prospect Research Specialist to drive prospect development for annual, leadership, major, principal, and planned gifts. You will generate tailored profiles and briefings for gift officers, supporting DAR’s fundraising targets with data-driven insights.

Reporting to the Director of Prospect Development, you will work with the Advancement Services team to ensure accurate donor records and timely portfolio updates across campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree or 3 years of prospect research experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Raiser's Edge preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Identify, analyze, and segment donor records to support fundraising objectives.
• Prepare prospect briefings and reports for gift officers and leadership.
• Collaborate with Advancement Services to maintain donor records and portfolios.
• Leverage analytics and data mining to inform portfolio audits and balance efforts.
• Stay current on fundraising trends and vendor resources.
