Job summary

The University of Michigan is seeking a Development Research Analyst in Ann Arbor to partner with Michigan Medicine gift teams. You will identify and analyze prospect information to support cultivation and solicitation efforts and bring new donors to the attention of fundraisers.

You will manage your own workload, assist the Directors of Development Research, and contribute to growing the Prospect Development team while performing on-site work three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preferably Information Science or Humanities.
• At least three years of related work experience; 2+ years in prospect development or fundraising.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to analyze and summarize information.

Responsibilities

• Assist with prospect identification and information gathering to meet fundraising goals.
• Prepare confidential research documents on individual, corporate, and foundation prospects.
• Synthesize data into key metrics and visualizations for development staff.
• Coordinate and monitor projects and deadlines with development officers.
