Job summary

Neumann Golf Course in Cincinnati is seeking a part-time Proshop Attendant to support guest services, handle reservations, and manage the shop floor with a friendly, professional demeanor.

The role requires evening availability and facilitates a smooth check-in and checkout process while maintaining cart and inventory areas. Experience preferred but training provided; healthcare benefits and retirement plans are available for eligible staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerk/cashier-like duties and processes customer reservations for guests.
• Provides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in.
• Arranges and displays golf shop inventory as directed and collects green and cart fees in the POS system.
• Maintains a clean, safe workplace and reconciles cash at close.
• Ensures property and amenities are secured daily.
• Assists with setup of equipment and golf carts and related duties by the General Manager.
• Welcomes and greets guests, explains course rules, and manages tee times as needed.
• Keeps track of golf cart status and maintains orderliness of storage and practice facilities.

Neumann Golf Course, located in Cincinnati, OH, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Proshop Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Schedule

Must be able to work evenings till at least 10 PM

Key Responsibilities

When Acting as an Inside Staff Member

• Performs clerk/cashier-like duties
• Responsible for processing customer reservations for guests of the golf course
• Provides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite the check-in process
• Arranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directed
• Collects green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and processes them in the POS system as trained
• Assists in maintaining a clean, safe workplace
• Assists in the reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to the daily register at the close of the day
• Ensures the property and its amenities are secured daily
• Assists with the setup of equipment and golf carts
• Performs related duties as assigned by the General Manager

When Acting as an Outside Staff Member

• Performs starter/ranger-like duties
• Responsible for welcoming and greeting guests and players in a friendly manner
• Explains rules and course etiquette to all groups as needed
• Washes and sanitizes the golf cart fleet; maintains organized storage areas and the practice facility
• Assists with the setup and organization of golf carts and equipment for regular tee times and outings
• Facilitates an orderly and timely pace of play to prevent delays
• Answers all questions in a friendly manner; keeps a record of starting times and golf cart numbers for each group when necessary
• Ensures that each group has four players whenever possible
• Responsible for picking up and cleaning practice balls as scheduled
• Ensures the property and its amenities are secured daily
• Performs related duties as assigned by the General Manager
