Job summary

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design and integration of engine, transmission or battery harness.
• Utilize engineering tools to develop routing, wire gauges, connectors and channels.
• Collaborate with other engineers to ensure harness meets requirements.
• Manage programs to achieve milestones and advise management.
• Provide engineering judgment for design and implementation of wiring.
• Conduct design reviews and initiate drawing reviews.
• Recommend design/process improvements to quality and cost.
• Review DFMEAs and DRBFMs for design changes.
• Demonstrate designs meet requirements through analysis and validation.
• Support peer reviews and coordinate with suppliers for quality, cost and timing.
• Work with manufacturing to ensure build-ability and resolve quality issues.
