Job summary

Waséyabek Development Company is seeking a Project Engineer to lead technical execution across the full project lifecycle—from concept and design through prototyping, testing, and delivery. You will coordinate with engineering, test lab, manufacturing, and program management to meet contract requirements.

The role focuses on propulsion and power systems programs, including internal combustion engines, electrification, and hybrid integration, with ITAR/EAR considerations where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience designing and developing internal combustion engines and accessories.
• Experience managing technical scope, schedule, and risk on engineering programs.
• Knowledge of engineering analysis methods (thermal, structural, performance).
• Experience collaborating with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical scope and design for power and propulsion systems from concept to production release.
• Plan and direct engineering analysis and test programs to validate designs.
• Lead design reviews and ensure actions are closed.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to ensure producibility and timely delivery.
• Identify and drive resolution of technical risks and open issues.
• Prepare and maintain design records and technical documentation.
