Job summary

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) in Charleston, SC, seeks a Propulsion & Fuel System Engineer (Mid-Level or Senior) to join the 787 Propulsion Charleston Team in North Charleston. This role combines engineering analysis, systems integration, and hands-on factory support at the Charleston facilities and propulsion center.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
5+ years of engineering experience.
Willing to travel 10–20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Lead integration of propulsion and fuel system changes across airplane systems, developing robust design solutions.
Plan, oversee, review, and approve engineering products and deliverables.
Maintain design oversight for supplier-provided fuel system components and review supplier drawings and change proposals.
Engage suppliers to define, plan, and execute qualification testing and modifications.
Coordinate, develop, and publish test plans and reports; analyze data to support dispositions.
