Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Manager for Systems Engineering & Integration in Canoga Park, CA. This full-time role leads AR propulsion programs, directing requirements, verification, and risk management across development and production efforts.

You will drive Model Based Systems Engineering practices, coordinate with IPTs, and oversee staffing, career development, and project metrics. Domestic travel and ability to obtain a US security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 9+ years in systems engineering
• Graduate degree with 7+ years in systems engineering; or 13 years experience in lieu of a degree
• Strong technical and team-working skills; effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support for AR product development efforts (solid and liquid propulsion)
• Develop system requirements, allocate them, and manage changes across IPTs
• Coordinate verification plans and compliance reporting for systems engineering
• Perform functional analysis and system trade studies
• Lead MBSE adoption and liaison between SE&I and other engineering disciplines
