Job summary

Ideal candidates bring a systems engineering background, MBSE experience, and the ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance. The role includes travel and participation in cross-functional integration activities within the Missile Solutions segment.

Qualifications

• Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior systems engineering experience; graduate degree or equivalent with 0–2 years experience, or 6+ years if no degree.
• 2 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in aerospace/defense; liquid rocket propulsion desired.
• Experience with MBSE and related disciplines (requirements management, risk management, product development).

Responsibilities

• Develops system, subsystem, and component requirements for propulsion systems; derives, allocates, and documents requirements.
• Performs functional analysis and coordinates system trade studies; supports architecture definition.
• Coordinates project risk assessment and mitigation; may lead a small team.
• Communicates results in oral and written form; represents the organization in meetings.
• Travel: 10%.
