Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector seeks a Systems Engineering Manager – Level 2 in Promontory, UT to lead and mature propulsion system projects. You will oversee architecture, requirements, verification, and change control, while coordinating with Chief Engineers and program leadership.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, 8+ years in systems engineering or related fields, and leadership experience. The position follows a 9/80 work schedule at Promontory, with occasional travel and on-site

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience or a Master’s with 6 years or a PhD with 4 years of experience.
• Must possess a current, active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Manage systems and integration support for projects based at Promontory, UT.
• Perform managerial responsibilities including goal setting, performance reviews, rewards, and HR-related activities.
• Coordinate with customers and program teams to understand system requirements and derive component specs.
• Develop model architecture for model-based integration of requirements, design, analysis, and verification.
• Other duties as assigned.
