Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems Sector invites motivated STEM students to join the Propulsion Systems & Controls team in Elkton, MD (also Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Ronkonkoma, NY). This internship offers exposure to pioneering aerospace projects and hands-on experience that ties classroom theory to real systems.

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in Fall 2027, major in a STEM field, available for 10 weeks in summer 2027, and eligible for U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate or graduate student and will be enrolled in Fall 2027.
• Majoring in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
