Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Sr. Associate, Systems Engineering to join the Missile Solutions team at Canoga Park, CA. The role develops propulsion system requirements and coordinates verification and integration across IPTs.

Travel up to 10% and ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance are required. Qualified candidates have MBSE experience, familiarity with DOORS, and a strong background in systems engineering and propulsion domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field, with 2+ years of experience.
• Graduate Degree plus 0–2 years experience; or 6+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with MBSE and requirements verification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Specify system, subsystem, and component requirements for propulsion systems and verification.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are met during design and verification.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure on-time project completion.
• Present findings in written reports and oral presentations to stakeholders at various levels.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
