Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Propulsion Engineer – Level 2 or 3 to join our team at our Palm Beach Gardens, Florida location to support the PS&C business unit.

The PS&C unit is based in Elkton, MD and develops solid-propellant propulsion and high-velocity systems for diverse customers. The role requires design of propulsion components and collaboration across technical groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in STEM plus 2 years of related experience or Master’s in STEM strongly preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance requiring US Citizenship.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD software.
• GD&T knowledge and design-for-manufacturing awareness.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Design moderately complex structural components and systems.
• Apply engineering methods to solve complex parts and sub-assemblies.
• Release design data and document results after review.
• Develop original ideas and evaluate designs with teams.
