Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT, seeks a Supplier Management Team Technical Lead for the Aerojet (Propulsion) Subcontract. The role may also be filled in Manhattan Beach, CA or Huntsville, AL, with travel up to 50% and an active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) with eligibility for Top Secret.

You will lead a cross-functional technical team, align supplier activities with the program baseline, and develop SSOWs, RFIs/RFPs, and technical content while overseeing risk and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 14 years of related engineering experience; OR Master’s in STEM with 12 years; OR PhD with 10 years.
• Willing to travel 50% or more between Roy, Huntsville, and Manhattan Beach, and other locations.
• 5 years Design and Manufacturing experience in liquid propulsion systems.
• Experience with Aerojet-supported technology such as aerospace electronic systems, communications systems, and/or liquid propulsion.
• Experience with the systems engineering 'V' life cycle and requirements to verification.
• Experience managing a technical baseline.
• Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) with ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR).

Responsibilities

• Lead the cross-functional technical team and align Aerojet activities with the program baseline.
• Develop Aerojet Statements of Work (SSOW) with key stakeholders.
• Contribute technical content for RFIs/RFPs and related negotiations.
• Evaluate Aerojet proposal technical content and support negotiations.
• Review and approve technical subcontractor deliverables with SMEs.
• Align Aerojet objectives within program cost and schedule constraints.
• Set and track technical goals and risk mitigation actions.
• Maintain the SMT technical action item tracker for accountability.
