Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Canoga Park, CA is seeking a Specialist, Project and Component Engineer to support multiple phases of pressurant and propellant components (tanks, regulators, transducers, valves) within Missile Solutions programs. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain to ensure on-time, within-budget component completion.

Applicant should have a bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of engineering experience (or equivalent), GD&T and CAD (CREO), and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of engineering experience.
• Graduate degree with 2+ years of related engineering experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 8 years of related engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine approaches to objectives applying engineering principles and practices.
• Support production and fabrication of rocket components and assemblies.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts across disciplines for specifications and test plans.
• Travel up to 10% to suppliers and production sites.
• Extend hours as needed to meet business objectives.
