Job summary

Stellantis in Michigan is seeking a Program Manager to lead cross-functional program execution from conception through production. You will ensure cost, time, quality and performance targets are met, coordinate platform teams, and drive budget efficiencies while aligning with the Global Powertrain Development Process.

Ideal candidates bring a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 8+ years automotive experience, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to support vehicle launches

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a related field.
• Familiarity with automotive engine design, components, and testing.
• Strong interpersonal communication, team/leadership skills/experience.
• Critical character traits: Organized, Action Oriented, Dealing with Ambiguity, Customer Focus, Problem Solving.

Responsibilities

• Manages all the aspects of the assigned program to assure cost, time, quality and performance achievement.
• Coordinates cross functional Platform team involved in program targets achievement.
• Responsible to ensures Program budget achievement identifying all possible efficiencies vs. approved business case.
• Leads program documentation creation, monitoring and updating in line with Global Powertrain Development Process.
• Ensures product readiness to support approved launches while defining milestones and leading change review meetings.
• Coordinates and support engineering teams to deliver prototype and production batches that meet requirements.
• Leads proactive risk management tasks with QM and Platform team, tracks risk status.
• Supports technical reviews/evaluations in respect to program targets/milestones.
• Leads the responses to investigate/action bulletins related to product/process changes.
• Coordinates and implements Value Optimization and Quality Improvement activities.
