Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with ≥6 years’ experience; or graduate degree with ≥4 years.
• U.S. security clearance eligibility required.
• Onsite work in Canoga Park, CA.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts for mechanical systems to meet propulsion requirements.
• Perform preliminary design, component sizing, and packaging to meet mass/volume limits.
• Integrate propulsion with vehicle and payload interfaces.
• Create components and systems for high‑pressure and extreme environments.
• Interpret models/drawings and perform tolerance studies.
• Coordinate with suppliers and cross‑functional teams for producibility and cost savings.
• Use Creo for trade studies and preliminary designs; release drawings via Windchill.
• Contribute to technical presentations and engineering reports.
