Job summary
A leading spacecraft manufacturer in Los Angeles is seeking a Propulsion Mechanical Engineer to own mechanical designs for spacecraft propulsion systems. This role involves driving the design, analysis, and qualification of propulsion hardware to perform reliably through launch environments. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Qualifications
3+ years of experience delivering mechanical and/or fluid system hardware.
Strong foundation in fluid mechanics, including pressure drop and flow control.
Experience designing and developing pressurized fluid systems.
Responsibilities
Own the mechanical design of hardware and its integration into propulsion modules.
Perform analysis and testing to meet propulsion subsystem requirements.
Generate and maintain CAD models and drawings for flight hardware.
