Job summary
Apex - Satellite Platforms in Los Angeles is looking for a Propulsion Mechanical Engineer to design and analyze propulsion hardware for spacecraft. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that hardware meets performance and safety requirements. This role demands a strong background in fluid mechanics, CAD proficiency, and experience in pressurized fluid systems. Qualifications
8+ years of experience delivering mechanical and/or fluid system hardware.
Experience designing and developing pressurized fluid systems.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
Own the mechanical design of propulsion system hardware and its integration into propulsion modules.
Perform structural and vibration analyses to support launch loads.
Generate and maintain CAD models, drawings, and GD&T for flight hardware.
