This role involves designing, building, and testing flight hardware with strong technical skills in mechanics and manufacturing. The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in engineering and over five years of relevant experience. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline (mechanical, aerospace, physics, materials, etc.).
• 5+ years of engineering, competition team, or applied research experience related to fluids, mechanisms, or engine systems.

Responsibilities

• Fully own critical flight hardware from concept to delivery.
• Work with system owners to architect and integrate components within engine and vehicle systems.
• Make risk-conscious technical decisions aligned with program posture.

Skills

Ability to communicate in changing environments

Strong first-principles knowledge in mechanics

Proficiency in compressible/incompressible flow

Experience using CAD to design parts and assemblies

Scripting experience (Python, Matlab)

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline
