This role involves designing, building, and testing flight hardware with strong technical skills in mechanics and manufacturing. The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in engineering and over five years of relevant experience. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline (mechanical, aerospace, physics, materials, etc.).
5+ years of engineering, competition team, or applied research experience related to fluids, mechanisms, or engine systems.
Responsibilities
Fully own critical flight hardware from concept to delivery.
Work with system owners to architect and integrate components within engine and vehicle systems.
Make risk-conscious technical decisions aligned with program posture.
Skills
Ability to communicate in changing environments
Strong first-principles knowledge in mechanics
Proficiency in compressible/incompressible flow
Experience using CAD to design parts and assemblies
Scripting experience (Python, Matlab)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline
