Job summary

Amazon Leo seeks a Manufacturing Functional Technician for its propulsion team, supporting production of flight hardware and subsystems. The role covers assembly, integration, debugging, and process improvements within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work with engineers to enhance tooling, documentation, and training while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The position emphasizes hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assemblies, use of SAP/SFC for production

Qualifications

• 2+ years in aerospace/automotive manufacturing or equivalent
• 2+ years hands-on electro-mechanical assemblies and final integration
• 2+ years in fast-paced production with flight hardware
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and documents
• Able to work well in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing, assembly, and integration tasks across propulsion subsystems per engineering docs and SOPs
• Troubleshoot issues and aid in debug and root-cause analysis
• Conduct inspections focused on quality-critical aspects
• Provide feedback to engineers on tooling, consumables, and processes
• Assemble first article builds, document discrepancies, and support validation
• Maintain or develop SOPs and drive process improvements
• Assist in training and onboarding of new hires
• Support MES/SAP-based production tracking and traceability
