Job summary

The Stellantis Propulsion organization seeks a Propulsion HIL Systems & Hardware Engineer for the Propulsion System HIL team to advance Hardware-In-the-Loop simulators. You will interface with ECU hardware, systems, SW, controls and CAL teams to rapidly set up HIL environments for vehicle configurations and troubleshoot issues during commissioning.

You should have strong teamwork, systems focus across ICE, transmission, EV/hybrid platforms, and experience with cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering.
• 5+ years in electrical/electronics, hardware, software or controls.
• Demonstrated Hardware-In-the-Loop experience with dSPACE, ETAS, NI HIL systems.
• Hands-on with dSPACE Simulators (Scalexio), harness design and loads.
• Experience with HIL electrical/wiring harness, load box design and debugging.
• Model-based tools such as MATLAB/SIMULINK.
• CAN/LIN/Flash bootloader integration, CANoe/CANalyzer familiarity.
• Strong team player with cross-functional collaboration ability.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary interface between HIL development and external teams (SW, Controls, CAL).
• Configure and commission HIL simulators for vehicle configurations; resolve integration issues.
• Collaborate with ECU Hardware, Systems, SW, Controls, Plant Modeling and Calibration engineers.
• Benchmark and evaluate new HIL technologies; support process, methodology and tools.
