Blue Origin is seeking a Production Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of engine assembly technicians on the WA production floor. You will oversee day-to-day tasks, mentor staff, schedule work, and drive Lean improvements to maximize safety, quality, and throughput of rocket engine assemblies.

Formación

• Associate degree or 5 years in turbomachinery/manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years in leadership leading 15+ people.
• Lean manufacturing training and experience.
• Experience with reading mechanical drawings and GD&T.
• Familiarity with Kaizen, Six Sigma, FMEA concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and steer the efforts of engine assembly technicians.
• Enforce area standards and conduct reviews and mentoring.
• Interface with factory leadership to prioritize work.
• Schedule risk identification and mitigation.
• Improve safety and efficiency through audits and improvements.
• Lead transition of product from engineering to full-rate production.
• Review drawings for manufacturability and provide feedback.
