Blue Origin is seeking a lead for engine assembly production, overseeing technicians and guiding lean manufacturing initiatives on the WA production floor. You will mentor teams, enforce area standards, and coordinate with factory leadership to optimize schedules and safety.

The role requires a background in turbomachinery, at least 3 years in leadership, and a Bachelor’s degree with Six Sigma or equivalent certification. Expect extended hours and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 5 years experience in turbomachinery and rotatory assemblies manufacturing.
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership position leading a team of 15+ people.
• Bachelor's degree and Lean manufacturing training are required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and steer the collective efforts of engine assembly production technicians.
• Enforce area standards and conduct annual reviews, mentoring and disciplinary actions.
• Interface with area leadership to prioritize work based on production goals.
• Schedule risk identification, mitigation, and cross-functional coordination.
• Review drawings and DFx feedback to improve manufacturability.
• Lead transition of product from engineering to full-rate production.
