Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related field.
• Graduate degree with 2+ years of related experience; or 8+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with filament-wound composite pressure vessel design/manufacturing methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for filament-wound composite cases and propulsion components.
• Develop 3D models, design concepts, and detailed drawings.
• Perform trade studies and prepare component specifications and procedures.
• Coordinate with analysis, manufacturing, and project teams.
• Support production activities on shop floor and at supplier locations.
• Prepare engineering reports and presentations for stakeholders.
