Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Propulsion System Application Calibration Engineer in Michigan to develop and validate propulsion system calibrations using PCAL best practices. You will perform virtual and in-vehicle testing to reach calibration maturity across vehicle milestones and collaborate with the center of competency to resolve issues.

Requirements include a BS in Engineering/Math/Stats and at least 5 years in powertrain calibration or development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 5 year combined work experience in the area of powertrain development and/or calibration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and verify calibrations in Powermoding, Thermal Management, LV/HV Charging Calibration, and other PCAL-related features.
  • Analyze functional models to root cause and document controls and SW issues blocking calibration progress.
  • Perform virtual and in-vehicle testing to achieve calibration maturity across vehicle milestones.
  • Collaborate with center of competency to review issues and follow calibration best practices.
